Meet the Doctor
As an internist, cardiologist and diabetologist, Dr. Katalin Fügedi has decades of experience in the investigation, treatment and care of internal medicine, cardiology and metabolic complaints of adult patients.
He received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Budapest, Faculty of Medicine, in 1973. At the beginning of his career, he worked in a clinical chemistry laboratory, where, in addition to his daily routine work, he also performed teaching and research tasks. Later, he continued his work at the Department of Internal Medicine of the Szent István Hospital, and then passed the internal medicine and cardiology specialist exams.
He also expanded his professional experience abroad: he worked in internal medicine and cardiology outpatient care in Düsseldorf. In addition to cardiology inpatient and outpatient care at the Szent István Hospital and its later successor, the DPC Hospital, he also participated in international drug trials. In addition to his private practice, he currently works at the DPC Hospital.
In his practice, he provides care to patients with internal medicine, cardiology, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes. He pays particular attention to detailed questioning, reviewing previous findings, and ensuring that complaints are evaluated taking into account the entire internal medicine background.

From 1994, I worked in the Internal Medicine Department and outpatient clinic in Düsseldorf, Germany, for 2 1/2 semesters.
Since 1980, I have worked in the internal medicine department of Szent István Hospital, and then in its later legal successor, the Internal Medicine Department I of DPC Hospital, and I still work today, currently part-time.
